PowerOffice Go

The PowerOffice Go integration connects Ditio to your PowerOffice Go accounting system so you don’t have to move payroll data by hand. Approved hours flow from Ditio to PowerOffice for payroll, and your PowerOffice projects flow into Ditio so field workers register against the same project structure your accountants use.

CapabilityDirectionWhat happens
Payroll / hours exportDitio → PowerOfficeApproved, locked hours are pushed to PowerOffice Go’s Salary Lines API, ready for a payroll run
Machine cost exportDitio → PowerOfficeOptional, enabled by Ditio. Machine cost from Ditio is posted to PowerOffice as manual journal vouchers (a debit on the project and a matching counter-posting)
Project syncPowerOffice → DitioYour PowerOffice projects — including sub-projects — are imported into Ditio; sub-projects become Ditio work orders
Reference dataPowerOffice → DitioEmployees (matched by employee number) and accounting lookups (customers, GL accounts, VAT codes) are read from PowerOffice so data maps to the right place
  • A PowerOffice Go account where you can create API access.
  • The administrator role in Ditio.
  • Your Ditio hours and payroll setup already in use (payroll types, employee numbers) — the export lines up against these.

Setup happens partly in PowerOffice and partly in Ditio. The API keys are held securely by Ditio, so the connection itself is switched on together with Ditio — the rest you do yourself.

  1. In PowerOffice: create API access. In PowerOffice Go, create an integration for Ditio and note the three values it needs:

    • Client key — grants access to your PowerOffice client (company) data
    • Application key — identifies Ditio’s application to PowerOffice
    • Subscription key — grants access to the PowerOffice API
  2. Ditio enables the connection. Provide the three keys to Ditio and we switch the integration on for your company. (There is no key-entry screen in Ditio today — this one-time activation is done with Ditio.)

  3. In Ditio: select PowerOffice Go for payroll. In Payroll Setup, set the Export format to PowerOffice Go. This turns on the live export of approved hours to PowerOffice’s Salary Lines API — a direct API sync, not a file you download and upload.

  4. In Ditio: sync your projects. Open a project and choose Sync PowerOffice to import projects and sub-projects from PowerOffice. Run this whenever your PowerOffice project list changes.

  • Hours export runs automatically once approved hours are locked — no manual export step per pay period.
  • Project sync is on demand: run Sync PowerOffice again when projects or sub-projects change in PowerOffice.
  • New employees and pay items added in PowerOffice can be pulled in to keep your mapping current.
